What We Do
Since 2020, Trees4kids plants trees locally in Belgium.
Our Mission
Trees4Kids acts as a link between the local community and local trees. Our aim is to bring knowledge, resources and manpower together for the creation of forests and green spaces. With this initiative, we would like to educate young people on importance of trees for the sustainability of our planet. With technology evolving, young children have less and less feeling with the nature. Trees4kids aims to reconnect them to nature by allowing them to plant the trees themselves. Education is key for a brighter future. Who are we?
Trees4kids consists of a small team of 3 people that combined their knowledge and network to build this non-for-profit organisation. Our organisation consists of an all-round technology lawyer with more than 20 years of experience in his field, a business engineer currently working as a communication manager at an international non-profit organisation and an experienced forester that knows everything there is to know about trees and forestrie.
Who are we?
Patrice Vanderbeeken
Patrice Vanderbeeken is a lawyer with more than 20 years of experience, but most importantly he is a major tree enthousiast and supporter of sustainability. Patrice is also an active member with the Board of the Europe India Chamber of Commerce and an executive Board member of the Licensing Executives Society Benelux and the Fonds Joseph Maisin pour la Recherche contre le Cancer.

Lima Azhieva
Lima Azhieva is a graduated business engineer at the Solvay Brussels business school, currently working as communication manager. She has assisted several sustainability organisations and enjoys helping the planet by taking small steps towards a more sustainable way of living.

Kevin Knevels
Kevin Knevels is a landscape architect, currentyl working as forester at the Royal Endowment. He is the brain behind our tree planting events as he knows everything there is to know about trees. His field of interst span a wide range from Forestry, Sustainable Wildlife management, Horticulture and Landscape Architecture.
